PokerPlex Review
PokerPlex is part of the large and growing Cryptologic network, and as such it shares a playerbase with Interpoker, Littlewoods, and William Hill. It also shares basic software with Intercasino, which makes the functionality between the two gamerooms almost entirely similar.
When it comes to its sister sites, Interpoker has a reputation for hosting aggressive European players. William Hill is known to be frequented by inexperienced players who rarely fold. The occasional appearance of these players in PokerPlex makes the games there very soft indeed.
The games selection in PokerPlex is not far from standard. It has Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha High, and Omaha Hi/Lo. The site boasts of around 7,000 players or more at peak times, a grand majority of whom congregate in Hold'em.
The software is stable, the graphical interface is large, clean and easy to work with. A possible drawback is that table stats take some time to refresh; you may click on a table that has 8 out of 10 seats filled, but when you get there you find that the table is already full. There is a "waiting list" option that queues you for joining a table with your specified number of players, but that takes away your ability to manually select tables based on flow and size.
Cashout is rather slow. As with Interpoker, you have to wait around 1 or 2 weeks before your pin arrives by post. This "snail mail" method is not preferred by a lot of players, since of course you would like to cash out quickly - but once you receive your pin, it's smooth sailing with eCash and the many other payment modes allowed in the site. Currently, the payment modes allowed by Poker Plex are Citadel, FirePay, NETeller, Visa, Mastercard, electronic cheque, wire transfer or cheque.
After the first deposit, you still have to wait until you're done with your ring games until you can access the gameroom's online cashier. You cannot visit the cashier while you have cash games open, though you can while you're in a tournament.
PokerPlex Bonus Code
As a means of attracting and keeping people on board, PokerPlex gives out generous monthly bonuses. Players who play 250 raked real money hands at $0.25 stakes or higher each get $50 a month in bonus. It's important to keep in mind that there's an expiry date for the bonus, and if the player does not cash out via the eCash system within the designated time, the bonus is forfeited.
Creating an account at PokerPlex is a simple and takes only a few minutes. You can be playing poker online at PokerPlex right now.
